Terms of Service

Last updated: March 24, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Numerous ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including merchants in early access and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Numerous is a Shopify profit tracking application that calculates true net profit by aggregating revenue, COGS, shipping costs, transaction fees, ad spend, and custom expenses. The Service is provided as-is during the beta period and may be updated or changed at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these terms on behalf of yourself or your business. By using Numerous, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration & Early Access

During the beta period:

  • Early access is free and granted at our discretion
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate information when registering
  • One account per store unless otherwise agreed

We reserve the right to terminate access for any account that violates these terms.

5. Shopify Integration

By connecting your Shopify store to Numerous, you authorize us to access your store data as described in our Privacy Policy. You remain responsible for your Shopify store and its compliance with Shopify's own terms. You may revoke access at any time from your Shopify admin.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties

7. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Numerous calculates profit metrics based on data you provide and data synced from connected services. The accuracy of your profit calculations depends on the accuracy of the cost data you configure (COGS, shipping rules, custom costs). Numerous is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for professional accounting or financial advice. We are not responsible for business decisions made based on data shown in the app.

8. Pricing & Payment

During the beta period, Numerous is free. When paid plans launch:

  • Pricing will be communicated in advance with reasonable notice
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
  • You may cancel at any time — no cancellation fees
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within the Numerous Service is owned by Numerous and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your store data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

10. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. During beta, the Service is provided without uptime guarantees.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Numerous shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the use of the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email with at least 14 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration.
