Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Numeross ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to free-plan users and merchants who purchase optional add-ons.

2. Description of Service

Numeross is a Shopify profit tracking application that calculates net profit by aggregating revenue, COGS, handling fees, shipping costs, transaction fees, and returns. The Service is provided as-is and may be updated or changed at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these terms on behalf of yourself or your business. By using Numeross, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information when registering
• One account per Shopify store unless otherwise agreed

We reserve the right to terminate access for any account that violates these terms.

5. Shopify Integration

By connecting your Shopify store to Numeross, you authorize us to access your store data as described in our Privacy Policy. You remain responsible for your Shopify store and its compliance with Shopify's own terms. You may revoke access at any time from your Shopify admin.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties

7. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Numeross calculates profit metrics based on data you provide and data synced from Shopify. The accuracy of your profit calculations depends on the accuracy of the cost data you configure (COGS, handling fees). Numeross is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for professional accounting or financial advice. We are not responsible for business decisions made based on data shown in the app.

8. Pricing & Payment

• The Numeross free plan includes up to 1,000 orders per connected store each month with no recurring subscription fee
• Plans, monthly quotas, usage, and add-ons are scoped separately to each Shopify store, even when multiple stores share one Numeross login
• An optional $15 USD Shopify one-time purchase adds 5,000 orders to the selected store for 30 days
• Every add-on requires explicit Shopify charge approval; Numeross does not apply automatic overage charges
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within the Numeross Service is owned by Numeross and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your store data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

10. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. During beta, the Service is provided without uptime guarantees.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Numeross shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the use of the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email with at least 14 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration.
